Lossless Compression Activity

• Using lossless compression:
  1. On a shared google doc (page #1), write a message that contains at least 4 sentences. One sentence per person in your group. The combined sentences should have a common topic.
  2. Find patterns in the sentences (i.e. repeating phrases, words, string of letters).
  3. Develop a dictionary that uses symbols to symbolize the patterns.
  4. On a new page (page #2), write the compressed message and a copy of the dictionary.
  5. Upload page #2 only to this folder(s): Per. 3 | Per. 5 
  6. Submit both pages (#1 & #2) here
